By As part of the centenary celebrations of the founding of the state, we are compiling a simple register of Laois Cumann na mBan members, since there is no existing record of members. We are doing this on the basis of information supplied by family members, relatives, friends and other interested parties eg local historians.
We are also interested in collecting old photographs of members and relevant documents. We will contact you to copy these, if available – please indicate below if you have such items.
We are also collecting anecdotes and stories of events associated with members. If you have any of these and would like them to be included in the register along with your family member or friend, please include these on the blank page at the end of the form.
